Difference between Rasgulla and Rasmalai?

Rasgulla is a ball of cheese boiled in syrup for a certain time until the ball gets cooked well and after cooking when it gets cooled it is left in the syrup. When each ball (Rasgulla) is served a lot of syrup comes to our dish with it.

Rasmalai is made in the same way, but after cooking….balls are taken out of the syrup and when get cooled; they are dipped in comparatively dense milk for some time Rasgullas get filled with tasty and sweet milk throughout. It is served with the dense, sweet milk in which it is boiled and preserved.

Though both are made from same material every time they offer their individual taste and flavour.
